This public boat ramp is an amazing place to launch from, near the inlet and super accessible.
Just west of A1A on NE 14th St, or east of the North Federal Highway, this park is in the perfect spot on the water.
The park has three separate boat ramps, each fitting two standard trailers at a time. There is plenty of paved trailer parking, so you should not have any issues finding a spot. There is even a good piece of grass for potential overflow parking. You do have to pay for trailer parking, and not doing so could get you a ticket.
There is plenty of dock space so parking your boat or PWC to get passengers on will be a breeze. There are even step ladders in various locations; making onboarding a piece of cake.
This ramp and area is more closely surrounded by water police, making it a more secure and safe spot for getting onto the water. So make sure you are following the water rules and being safe or you will surely get stopped.
There are two public water hoses, so you can easily take out your boat and drive over for your after use maintenance and cleaning. There is a 15 min time limit to ensure other visitors get the opportunity to use it as well.
There is parking for normal vehicles as well. It’s located a little further from the pier, past the trailer parking closer to the main road. This is also paid parking, so make sure to pay for your space to avoid a ticket.
There is also a pleasant park, and picnic benches as well. So no matter if you are boating, or enjoying the scenery there is a spot for you.
